Seeking small venue event photographer with ablility to capture overall event venue shots, detailed shots of significant sponsors, people photos with ID’s. Photo’s to be used in any and all publications and Moffly website. Events range from 100 -950 attendees. Greenwich based preferred.

Sales and Marketing |  Intern

Department: Sales and Marketing

Hours: Part-time

Location: Westport, CT

Seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the sales and marketing department. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and work well in a team setting. This individual must also be very organized and able to work efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment. He/she will have the ability to assist with multiple projects and tasks for all six magazine titles and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to the sales and marketing staff by assisting with the creation of client-related projects, reports, presentations, and marketing pieces Work with the Marketing Director to research new third-party vendors (marketing printers, premium vendors, database marketing companies, etc).
  • Distribute sales and marketing materials internally, as well as to clients, potential advertisers, and customers  
  • Assist with execution of company events
  • Manage general sales phone-line and email account

Media Sales Specialist | Business Development

Hours: Full Time
Location: Westport, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Be very familiar with the local and national markets
  • Possess impeccable presentation skills, an articulate telephone manner, and understanding why developing new business is essential for industry leaders.
  • Heavy warm and cold calling, setting up meetings and presenting the company's portfolio of media solutions.
  • Continuously working to build client relationships and manage pipelines and leads.
  • Candidates must be organized and computer literate to manage their work.

Qualifications
:

  • 3-5 years of print, online sales and event sponsorship experience.

  • Solutions based sales approach with ability to create programs that help clients grow their business.

  • Ability to sell value-based solutions.

  • Demonstrate an ability to develop new business and effectively manage and grow existing business.

  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a fast moving, competitive and rewarding work environment.
  • Superior verbal and written skills required to communicate effectively with clients and senior management.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage and execute multiple ongoing projects.

  • Strong Excel skills and comfortable with new technologies.

  • Results-oriented, motivated contributor who brings passion and an intrinsic drive to succeed.

  • Flexible - remains cool under the pressure and demands of a sales cycle business.

  • First-class presentation and negotiating skills.
- Is a demonstrated leader on a team.

  • Knowledge of the local Fairfield County, Connecticut marketplace is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Home Design is a plus.
