The market editor is responsible for curating products for shopping stories as well as producing feature editorial stories for all six Moffly titles. Categories for shopping pages include but are not limited to: fashion, beauty, jewelry, home décor and weddings. In addition to forecasting trends and featuring new products, items on these pages are sourced from local Fairfield County retailers wherever possible. The market editor conceptualizes all shopping pages and is responsible for requesting and organizing all high-res imagery and credit information.

Editorial Assistant | Print

Looking for an editorial assistant. This is a high-growth opportunity for someone eager to develop his/her professional publishing skills and contribute to an award-winning regional lifestyle magazine.
    •    Assist in trafficking editorial content
    •    Collaborate with editorial team to secure timely copy and images
    •    Gather high-quality contributed images with appropriate releases, credits and captions

Jr. Designer | Marketing

Department: Marketing
Hours: Full-time

Location: Westport, CT

The perfect candidate should have 2+ years of design experience, preferably at a magazine publishing company and will report to the Strategic Marketing Director. He/she must also be a great communicator and be excited and willing to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

This person is organized, a team player and a great problem-solver. Under the guidance of the Art Director he/she will be responsible for the following for all six titles:

  • Design and create materials for magazine ads, special sections, event and online promo pages, sales presentations, comps, collateral, direct mail, brochures, flyers, signage and more
  • Design and create e-blasts, online banner ads, digital mocks ups and other web related projects.
  • Responsible for projects from beginning to end, including design, production, ordering, follow-up and bill processing.
  • Ability to multi-task while working independently, as well as within a group
  • Must be knowledgeable about printing/production processes and able to work with third party vendors.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or related field of study
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint
