Peter the Great

Peter Duncan, president & CEO of George Comfort & Sons Inc., was honored during the March of Dimes Real Estate Award Breakfast, where 700 attendees from the real estate and nonprofit communities helped raise about $465,540 to benefit the March of Dimes.

Speakers during the fourteenth annual event, held at the Stamford Hilton, celebrated Duncan’s twenty-five-year success with George Comfort & Sons, stressing his role in the acquisition and redevelopment of many of the company’s properties, totaling more than $3 billion, as well as the expansion of operations in Stamford; New York City; Princeton, New Jersey; Washington, D.C.; and Beverly Hills, California.

The annual Real Estate Award Breakfast is believed to be the largest real estate fundraiser in the country, having raised about $4 million to help fund March of Dimes efforts to prevent birth defects, premature births and infant mortality.
