Ain’t No Mountain High Enough Day Hike

Spring has sprung and My Time For Me has a great spring me time event planned to celebrate the season. Join us for the Ain’t No Mountain High Enough Day Hike, taking place Saturday, May 16. Check out the details and sign up for this event at the MTFM website.   While the hike is the last event of our Spring season, there may be an event or two over the summer so be sure to check out our site for some summer me time fun.

On April 5, we had our first A Day For Me. The day was great fun with women spending the afternoon trying out all different experiences. Check out the fun pictures from the day at the MTFM Photo Gallery. The event was such a success that we will be hard at work this summer planning another A Day For Me this Fall.  We will keep you posted on the dates and the details!

Enjoy your me time!

I grew up in Long Island, and no, I don't have the accent. I spent most of my summers in Shelter Island, which is a tiny island between the North and South forks of Eastern Long Island. It is here where I really like to say I grew up. I have the best memories of my childhood in Shelter Island, everything from bonfires and water-skiing to working at The Rams Head Inn and wearing culottes made out of upholstery material that matched the wallpaper (and, yes, those suckers were hot in the August heat!). If you ever want to find a true escape, visit Shelter Island (www.shelter-island.org) and expect nothing except relaxation and my favorite, no traffic lights!!

I was born and raised in Norwalk, CT and went to Merrimack College in MA. I have tried to move out of CT a few times but with no luck so the powers that be are telling me this is my place. I love to read, I love to go out to dinner, I love to watch movies although I never seem to get to the movies nearly as much as I would like. I also like to experiment with different and all kinds of crafts. I am a master of none but a novice at lots! Currently my craft passion is knitting, although if you want me to make you something, it may take a while for me to finish it. I love new adventures and love to try new things which is why My Time For Me came about. I figured everyone wanted to try most things at least once right?
