Ladies, do we have a day for you! Don’t miss out on this great event being put on by My Time For Me. The MTFM A Day For Me is taking place Sunday, April 5 from 1-5 p.m. on the picturesque waterfront location of Shore and Country Club. Tickets are on sale now through Friday March 27th for $25 ($35 after the 27). Come enjoy this day with you in mind and sample organic wine, have your tarot cards read, sell your unwanted gold for cash, have your hair put into an up-do and ask the experts your health, wellness and relationship questions you have been curious about. Purchase your ticket and be entered into a drawing for 2 tickets to the Martha Stewart Show in NYC, a ski jacket from Burton Snowboard and other great prizes.

I grew up in Long Island, and no, I don't have the accent. I spent most of my summers in Shelter Island, which is a tiny island between the North and South forks of Eastern Long Island. It is here where I really like to say I grew up. I have the best memories of my childhood in Shelter Island, everything from bonfires and water-skiing to working at The Rams Head Inn and wearing culottes made out of upholstery material that matched the wallpaper (and, yes, those suckers were hot in the August heat!). If you ever want to find a true escape, visit Shelter Island (www.shelter-island.org) and expect nothing except relaxation and my favorite, no traffic lights!!

I was born and raised in Norwalk, CT and went to Merrimack College in MA. I have tried to move out of CT a few times but with no luck so the powers that be are telling me this is my place. I love to read, I love to go out to dinner, I love to watch movies although I never seem to get to the movies nearly as much as I would like. I also like to experiment with different and all kinds of crafts. I am a master of none but a novice at lots! Currently my craft passion is knitting, although if you want me to make you something, it may take a while for me to finish it. I love new adventures and love to try new things which is why My Time For Me came about. I figured everyone wanted to try most things at least once right?
