Fall Season Events

The calendar says that Spring is in the air, but with all this stormy weather I guess we have to believe what the calendar says! My Time For Me will be taking a break from events this summer to take some me time for ourselves. But fear not, in between our me time, we will be planning stellar events for you for the fall season. Events such as an Art Gallery Tour in NYC, Wine and Pizza Dinner, a visit back to the shooting range and much much more. We will keep you posted over the summer months and feel free to drop us a line at events@mytimeforme.com if you have an event you would like to see us put together. And be sure to take me time every chance you get!

I grew up in Long Island, and no, I don't have the accent. I spent most of my summers in Shelter Island, which is a tiny island between the North and South forks of Eastern Long Island. It is here where I really like to say I grew up. I have the best memories of my childhood in Shelter Island, everything from bonfires and water-skiing to working at The Rams Head Inn and wearing culottes made out of upholstery material that matched the wallpaper (and, yes, those suckers were hot in the August heat!). If you ever want to find a true escape, visit Shelter Island (www.shelter-island.org) and expect nothing except relaxation and my favorite, no traffic lights!!

I was born and raised in Norwalk, CT and went to Merrimack College in MA. I have tried to move out of CT a few times but with no luck so the powers that be are telling me this is my place. I love to read, I love to go out to dinner, I love to watch movies although I never seem to get to the movies nearly as much as I would like. I also like to experiment with different and all kinds of crafts. I am a master of none but a novice at lots! Currently my craft passion is knitting, although if you want me to make you something, it may take a while for me to finish it. I love new adventures and love to try new things which is why My Time For Me came about. I figured everyone wanted to try most things at least once right?
